Well, I never thought I’d see the day! The day Microsoft would get behind the idea of getting rid of one of their own browsers, but here it is!

IE6Countdown.com is the new home for Microsofts campaign to try and reduce usage of the 10 year old Internet Explorer 6 web browser down to less than 1% worldwide – quite the objective, but wonderful to see all the same.

Take a look at my website in IE7, it looks wrong, probably looks even worse in IE6. I know it looks wrong and because I want it to be right, it plays on my mind.

The  Juggernaut that is – Google announced on Friday that from March 1st some of their own websites including Google Apps and Google Docs will “not work correctly” on older browsers such as IE6 – woot.
